CTO of McKim and Creed and Robert Green, Contributing Editor for Cadalyst Craig Mathews has held positions as the senior IT leader for several organizations, and has consulted for numerous firms. He is CTO of McKim & Creed, PA, a multi-disciplinary consulting engineering firm with 350 employees and 15 offices. He wrote "The Absolute Beginner's Guide to Tablet PCs", and is a frequent speaker on various topics, including IT/business alignment, corporate strategy, IT strategy, and project management.
Craig and his staff tested and implemented Riverbed technology in several of their offices. What they found were impressive performance improvements across the Wide Area Network (WAN) even with the smaller Steelhead WAN accelerator models. McKim & Creed has now deployed several Steelhead devices and has seen dramatic improvements in application performance as well as file copy speeds between offices.
Robert Green is head of Robert Green Consulting, which specializes in the areas of CAD/document management and CAD automation programming. You've likely read his work for Cadalyst, where he authors the monthly CAD Manager magazine column and the twice-monthly CAD Manager's Newsletter. He is an 11-year veteran teacher at Autodesk University and a popular public speaker at user conferences and CAD management events throughout the U.S.
Green holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and gained his CAD skills from 20 years of AutoCAD, MicroStation and MCAD software use in environments varying from robotics to paper machinery to metal fabrication. Since starting his own company in 1991, he has performed consulting duties for private clients in the U.S., Canada and Scandinavia.
